As one of Marvel Rivals’ Strategist heroes, Luna Snow might be unfamiliar to fans as she didn’t originate from the comics. A superhero K-Pop star, she has been in groups like Agents of Atlas and was created for the game Marvel: Future Fight. NetEase Games also included her in the MOBA Marvel Super War. As someone made for the gaming industry, it’s no surprise that her versatile kit is simple to pick up. Here’s an ability breakdown of her moves and how you can play as her effectively to keep foes in check.

Luna Snow abilities

Unlike most healers, Luna Snow’s abilities automatically heal her, meaning that you’re a durable companion in combat. Pair that with her solid buffs and large AoE ultimate and you can see why plenty of players try this character first. Here are Luna’s abilities:

AbilityDescription
Cryo Heart (Passive)After receiving damage, Luna can use her own abilities to heal herself.
Smooth Skate (Passive)Luna Snow starts to skate on the ground after walking forward for some time, giving her the speed to reach her team quickly after death.
Light and Dark Ice (LMB)Luna Snow can damage enemies and heal enemies with her basic attack.
Absolute Zero (RMB)Luna Snow shoots a clump of ice, which freezes the target in place and lets her heals herself.
Ice Arts (L-Shift)Luna Snow briefly empowers her basic attacks and heals her allies or damages her enemies more effectively.
Share the Stage (E)Luna Snow marks an ally and shares her Idol Aura with them. Now, anytime she heals an ally, the mark also gets healed. Luna can keep an active eye on the mark’s health on her screen.
Fate of Both Worlds (Q)Luna Snow starts dancing on the battlefield, rapidly spreading a circular aura that heals nearby teammates. She can also alter the aura to pink, which amplifies the damage dealt to all nearby enemies.

How to play as Luna Snow effectively

Here are some things you should keep in mind while playing as this healer:

  • Use Absolute Zero to stop characters like Scarlet Witch and Storm from using their wind-up ultimates. It can buy your team some time to finish them off.
  • Ice Arts is a decent buff when you’re caught off-position by a flank, letting you deal more damage for a short duration or burst heal an ally.
  • Always have Idol Aura active by using the Share the Stage ability. This will automatically send healing over to an ally when you heal someone else, effectively giving you one less player to heal manually.
  • Try not to engage tanky characters like Venom or Groot without Duelist backup as you attacks aren’t very powerful. Instead, focus on other Duelists and Strategists. You can rely on your damage boost abilities if you’re forced to face a tank.
  • Light and Dark Ice is a helpful basic attack as you can simply fire into a cluster of characters to heal or damage them based on which side they’re on.
  • Thanks to her Cryo Heart passive that heals Luna based on her ability usage, you can restore your health without relying on another healer.
  • Use the Fate of Both Worlds ultimate based on which allies are around you. Duelists can make the most out of the attack buff while the healing aura is good for pushing objectives or sustaining the frontlines.
  • Remember that pairing up with Namor will enhance his water attacks with ice. He can even summon icy creatures this way. Team up combos like these will let you make the most of your team’s powers.
  • Move in a straight line to use the Smooth Skate mobility boost. This will let you quickly return to the action after being knocked out.
