The next season of Marvel Rivals will bring a wealth of new content. NetEase has prepared a new map, two new heroes, interface changes, and a lot more. On top of this, numerous heroes will go through balance changes, and some of them will be drastically nerfed. Season 3 will bring new cosmetics as well, and many of them will be free for eligible players.
In the latest dev vision, NetEase revealed that free skin trials are coming to Marvel Rivals. This means that eligible players will be able to get up to 10 skins for free for a limited time, along with MVP animations. In this guide, we will explain who is eligible and how you can sign up for this trial.
Free skin trials are coming to Marvel Rivals, but not to everyone
“Starting from Season 3, verified university students will enjoy costume trials. Upon completing verification, university students can enjoy access to 10 costumes and MVPs,” Guangguang, the game’s creative director, revealed in the latest dev vision. He also clarified that this feature will be available for students from the United States, the United Kingdom, and a few more countries.
The plan is to expand the program to even more regions in the future. Furthermore, the support team will assist players who cannot get free Marvel Rivals skins by simply verifying their email.
To get access to 10 skins and MVP animations, all you need to do is verify your student e-mail address. You can do this from the in-game menu once Season 3 comes out, as NetEase will send you a unique code that you need to confirm.
At the moment, it’s unknown how long this trial will last. However, it appears that NetEase will rotate free skins every once in a while, giving verified students access to new ones. Besides skins, the program includes MVP animations, which will no longer be limited to only specific costumes in Season 3.
