Even non-NFL fans could probably have predicted the Chiefs to top the rankings in Madden 25 following their Super Bowl win earlier this year, with two of the best players in the game on their roster – Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes.
It’s also no surprise to see the runners-up, the 49ers, coming in joint-top, also having a rating of 92. This is in thanks to having their own star players in Trent Williams and cover star Christian McCaffrey.
But all of these teams have huge amounts of talent. The Eagles might not have anyone quite on the level of Mahomes and McCaffrey, but Lane Johnson, Saquan Barkley and AJ Brown all come in with ratings above 90, helping them to a very respectable 87.
