This one is very self-explanatory. Each time you defeat a boss in Lords of the Fallen, you will be given a small number of Umbral Scouring. These only appear if you enter the Umbral Realm or are in the Umbral Realm when the fight is over. Interact with the Umbral Stigma using your lantern in the boss arena to get the remembrance and the Umbral Scouring.

Defeat Red Reapers or Scarlet Shadows

Defeating Red Reapers can be a bit difficult. We recommend going to the Pilgrim’s Perch Bellroom Vestige called the Vestige of Blind Agatha. Next to this area, you have only a few foes to defeat making it easy to farm here. Note: You can do this anywhere in the game.

Once there keep an eye on the Umbral Eye in the corner of the screen. This is also known as the Dread Meter. Wait around until this eye turns red and you start to see a red glow. After a short while, a reaper will appear. These unique Umbral enemies are very tough so you will want to be prepared.

The wooden platform outside the Vestige of Blind Agatha is a perfect place to fight these enemies and makes for a good farming strategy. Just be careful not to jump off the ledge or gravity will do its work. There are also some wooden planks and environmental obstacles you can use to maneuver away from the enemy.

Each time you defeat one of these Red Reapers, you will get five Umbral Scouring – a good trade-off for a difficult fight. Now just keep realm-jumping to get more. Once again, this can be done at any checkpoint, we just prefer this one. Other good areas ar the Vestige of Hannelore and the Vestige of Marco.
