Now that you have runes and you have a Rune Tablet, you can socket a rune into a weapon. To do this, go to Gerlinde in Skyrest and choose the socket runes option.
From there, choose which weapon or shield you wish to place a run into from your inventory. Remember, Runes have different effects depending on where you place them in a weapon. Some Runes will increase your weapon’s stats while others will apply bonuses.
As an example, an Agility Rune will increase a weapon’s scaling with the Agility stat. The same can be said with Inferno, Radiance, and Strength Runes. Slotting a Rune in Lords of the Fallen will cost you Vigor as well.
