How to destroy Umbral Entities in Lords of the Fallen
To destroy an Umbral Entity, you need to remove each one of its nodes by using Soulflay on it. Umbral Entities are objects that block paths and progress through a level. While they can’t be harmed by attacks, you can remove them with the Soulflay ability. To remove one, you need to destroy the corresponding nodes, of which there are typically three.
These nodes will appear as long, dark-haired corpses protruding from the Umbral scenery. To track them down, follow the large dark roots sprouting from the Entities and trail off to places around the immediate area.
Often you’ll need to play with verticality to get to them. Once you find one, use the Soulflay move to destroy it. Once all three nodes tied to the Umbral Entity have been destroyed, it will dissolve and you can be on your merry way.
