Is there an FC 24 free trial?

The FC 24 release date is nearly here! With a new game coming out, fans will be curious to find out is there an FC 24 free trial? 

A free trial allows fans who are unsure whether they want to splash out on a new game the opportunity to be won over. Discover if there is an FC 24 free trial below, and how you can access the latest football game. 

Is there an FC 24 free trial? 

There is an FC 24 trial, but it is up to interpretation whether you would class it as free or not! EA Play subscribers are able to play a 10-hour trial period of the game from September 22. This is the same time that FC 24 Early Access begins. However, as you have to pay to become an EA Play member we’re not sure if that counts as free or not! 

If you are already a subscriber, then you will probably view it as free. This is because the expense is already being paid on a monthly or yearly basis. If you’re not a member, then the basic £3.99 monthly cost to give FC 24 a spin can’t be classed as free! 

It should also be noted that those with the premium tier Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass Ultimate subscription gain EA Play as part of the service. Again, whether the trial you gain through this is classed as free or not may come down to interpretation. 

In years gone by, an FC 24 Demo would have been released pre-launch. However, we stopped seeing demos released with FIFA 20. Some players were invited to take part in the FC 24 Beta, which could be seen as a free trial. Yet, this wasn’t available to everyone, and you had to be specially selected by EA. 

You don’t need to have paid for the game to use the FC 24 Web App and Companion App. These allow you to access and manage your FC 24 Ultimate Team on the go. Both apps are free to use. However, you can only take part in the Ultimate Team game mode, and that is limited to off-field interactions.
