Despite initial suggestions Indiana Jones and the Great Circle would be a speedy story-heavy game that most players could plow through in under 10 hours, it’s a bit of a meatier proposition, especially if you want to experience everything MachineGames has cooked up. After playing through for our review, we’ve pieced together a solid estimate of how much time you’ll need to hit the credits. In this guide, we’ll walk you through how long you’ll need to beat Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.

How long is Indiana Jones and the Great Circle

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will take players anywhere between 15 and 40 hours to complete. If you stick to the main story and avoid much of the side content, you’ll hit the end of the game in under 15 hours, especially if you’ve dialled down the difficulty. Depending on how much you interact with side quests, hunt down a few collectibles, and throw in a couple of hours for exploration, you’re likely to push past the 20-hour mark in most cases.

If you’re aiming to sample everything in Indy’s latest adventure – find all collectibles, complete every Fieldwork, solve every mystery and puzzle, and unearth every discovery – then expect to sink a good 40 hours, if not more, into MachineGames’ latest game. Your exact playtime is likely to vary depending on the state of your puzzle-solving skills as there are a ton of optional ones that you can easily lose a few hours to as you work out solutions.

If you’re planning to tick off every trophy and secure that platinum achievement, there’s a good chance you’ll creep past the 40-hour mark. There’s also a secret ending that includes a tough old head-scratcher that necessitates collecting a cluster of artifacts across all the locations in the game. We’re currently at 55 hours but we did stop quite a bit to jot down notes for guides and take screenshots.

Whatever you want to get out of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, it’s a lot bigger than anticipated and packed with side content and tangents to go down. Again, it’s all optional and if you storm through the story on the lowest difficulty, it’s possible to bring the playtime to just above 12 hours.
