For now, though, let’s take a look at those Immortals of Aveum red crystals and how you can start destroying them.
How do you destroy the red crystals in Immortals of Aveum
To destroy the red crystals in Immortals of Aveum, you must use the Refract augment spell. Each magic type has an upgrade tree, where you can spend points to upgrade each spell type, providing buffs and new abilities, with one of them being the Refract augment.
Throughout the story, you will acquire totems which provide you with certain abilities. The third and final of these, the red totem, will enable you to cast the Disrupt control spell, which can prevent spellcasters from using their own spells. Soon after receiving the totem, you’ll have the chance to upgrade it, where you can spend points to unlock the Refract augment. This will let you destroy the red crystals, and receive rewards from them.
What rewards do you get from destroying red crystals in Immortals of Aveum?
The rewards for destroying red crystals in Immortals of Aveum are not particularly large, and are generally in line with those received from destroying chests, such as gold, health crystals, and mana crystals. While this is a somewhat underwhelming reward, you can never have too much gold for upgrades and crafting, while health and mana crystals might be life-saving in the right situation, so it’s still worth smashing open a few of these whenever you see them.
