How to Upgrade The Witcher 3 on Playstation 5?
If you own the Digital Edition of the game then simply go into your library and the PS5 edition of the game will be there. If you have the game physically there are a few extra steps to getting the PS5 version.

Upgrading your edition of The Witcher 3 is incredibly simple but just in case you’re unsure how, here is everything you need to know:
- Put the disc in for the PS4 version of the game
- Hover over The Witcher 3 icon on the PS Home Screen and scroll down
- On the right there will be an option for the PS5 version of the game
- Select this, proceed to check out (it’s free) and then you’re ready to download
It is worth noting, if you have the physical version of the game, you will have to keep your disc in the console to play the PS5 edition as this acts as a key for access.
