The training area is perfect for this, though players starting out may struggle to determine where to access this area from.

Where to Find the Training Area in Monster Hunter Rise?

Below are the steps you’ll need to follow to get access to the training area for the first time.

  • Head towards the center of Kamura Village, Steelworks, where you’ll find Hinoa the Quest Maiden and Kagero the Merchant
  • Take the path to the right, which leads towards a wooded area
  • Approach the bridge and enter the next area. A cutscene will play, introducing you to the Buddy Plaza.
  • Once the cutscene is over, turn around and head towards the river. Find a small boat and interact with it to access the Training Area.

Fortunately for players, once they’ve accessed the Training Area for the first time, they’ll be able to travel to it much quicker using the ‘Move Around Village’ option in the settings.

What is the Training Area in Monster Hunter Rise?

The training area is the perfect space for newer hunters to practice their skills. You will find a giant dummy Monster known as the Toadversary in the middle of the area whose actions and power you can tune. It makes for an optimal enemy to learn the game’s basics and even to master new weapons and abilities.

Once accessed, players can quickly return to the Training Area using the ‘Move Around Village’ option.
