Hogwarts Legacy – The Library Annex Field Guide Pages Locations

Field Guide Pages count among the many collectibles for completionists to sink their teeth into in Hogwarts Legacy. Finding them all in The Library Annex area of Hogwarts can be a hassle. Randomly casting Revelio as you dash through the corridors and halls in the hope of spotting one or two of them takes patience. To save you some time, we’ve compiled a list of the locations of all 20 Field Guide Pages in The Library Annex in Hogwarts Legacy.

Field Guide Pages in The Library Annex require the use of different spells: Accio for airborne pages, Revelio for hidden pages, Lumos for moth mirrors, Confringo for dragon statues, and Levioso for statues.

The Library Annex Field Guide Pages Locations

Moth Painting Central Hall – 1/20

Reward for bringing the moth back to the painting in the Like A Moth To A Frame quest. You can start the quest by talking to Lenora Everleigh near the Central Hall fountain after completing the Welcome to Hogwarts quest.

The Old Librarian 2/20

Fast travel to the Library Floo Flame. Take the stairs up to the upper floor and cast Revelio in front of the large painting of a man in a red frock at the top of the stairs.

Unclassified Page – 3/30

Fast travel to the Central Hall. Head straight down to the fountain and go left. The Field Guide Page flies above the staircase just ahead. Use Accio to grab it.

Unclassified Page – 4/20

Travel the Central Hall Floo Flame. Head down the stairs ahead towards the fountain. The page flies above the fountain in a large loop. If you can see it at first, wait a bit for it to loop back round then use Accio.

Unclassified Page – 5/20

Travel to the Divination Classroom Floo Flame. Take a left through the door next to you. The Field Guide Page flies in a loop between the rafters. Use Accio to grab it out of the air.

Portrait of Sir Cadogan – 6/20

Fast travel to the Divination Classroom Floo Flame. Take the stairs down one level, then go straight a little and take the stairs down on the left. Run across the hall and climb up the stairs straight ahead. Turn right and the Field Page is in front of a talking painting of a man in a suit of armor.

Palmistry Model – 7/20

Fast travel to the Divination Classroom Floo Flame. Follow the stairs all the way up, then take the ladder that unfurls into Professor Onai’s study. The page is in front of a table with a stack of teacups on it.

Central Hall Fountain – 8/20

Fast Travel to the Central Hall Floo Flame. Run down the stairs ahead down to the fountain. Wrap around to the back of the fountain and cast Accio to reveal the page.

Greenhouse Tree – 9/20

Fast travel to the Greenhouses Floo Flame. To the back of the tree ahead of you is the page. Cast Revelio to reveal it.

Dirigible Plums 10/20

Fast Travel to the Greenhouses Floo Flame. Walk straight into the doorway ahead. Immediately go through the door on your left. To the right of the tree at the bottom of the stairs is the page.

Moth Painting Library – 11/20

Fast Travel to the Library Floo Flame. Climb the stairs straight ahead to the floor above. Take a left, then another left and follow the balcony to the back of the library. Take a right when you see a short flight of stairs on your left. Use Lumos on the moth mirror ahead. Run back to the painting of the man in the red tunic at the top of the stairs you just came from to find the moth. Escort it back to the mirror.

Statue of Gregory the Smarmy – 12/20

Fast travel to the Potions Classroom. Turn around and go through the doorway ahead. The page is next to the statue immediately on your right.

Enchanted Books – 13/20

In the Restricted Section of the library, accessible during and after completing the Secrets of the Restricted Section main quest. Head down to the lower floor of the Restricted Section. The page is on the left next to a shelf at the bottom of the stairs.

Arithmancy Classroom 14/20

Fast travel to the Divination Classroom Floo Flame. Take a left into the rafters above the hall. Follow the wooden walkway and take the first right until you reach an animal symbol door. Solve the puzzle (if you need a hand check out our dedicated guide). Head up the stairs into the Arithmancy Classroom. The Field Guide Page is just in front of you as you enter.

Professor Sharp’s Auror Badge 15/20

Fast travel to the potions classroom. Head through the double doors ahead and then go through the door straight ahead into the classroom. The Field Guide Page is to the right of Professor Sharp’s desk at the back of the room. Use Revelio to reveal the page.

Unclassified Page 16/20

Fast travel to the Central Hall Floo Flame. Descend the stairs to the fountain and take a right down another set of stairs. Turn right and use Alohomora to unlock the door. Cast Levioso on the statue inside the room to get the Field Guide Page.

Unclassified Page 17/20

Fast travel to the Central Hall Floo Flame. Go down the stairs to the fountain and take the stairs to the back right to a small balcony. At the back is a dragon bowl. Cast Confringo to reveal the Field Guide Page.

Unclassified Page 18/20

Fast travel to the Library Floo Flame. Head left and then take a right into the Restricted Section. Drop down two floors until you come to a door into the basement. Go through, down the short flight of stairs and cast Levioso on the statue just ahead. 

Gorgon Portrait 19/20

Fast travel to the Potions Classroom Floo Flame. Head through the double doors ahead, then take a left down the spiral staircase. Follow the path until you come to a door on your left. Cast Alohomora to open it. Run to the end of the corridor and just before the flight of stairs, take a left. Solve the animal symbol door puzzle. Inside you’ll find a painting. Cast Revelio to reveal the Field Guide Page.

Unclassified Page 20/20

Fast travel to the Potions Classroom Floo Flame. Head through the double doors ahead, then take a left down the spiral staircase. Follow the path until you come to a door on your left. Cast Alohomora to open it. About halfway down the corridor, you’ll find a moth painting on the right. The moth is further up the corridor to the right of the flight of stairs on top of a troll in a glass case. Bring it back to the painting and uncast the spell to reveal the Field Guide Page.
