Harry Potter Quidditch Champions gives players the chance to mount up on a broom and take to the skies for the first standalone quidditch game for around two decades. But as a team game, you might be hoping to team up with some of your friends and take on the game together, or even head online and team up with some strangers.

We’re here to take you through everything you need to know about the multiplayer in Harry Potter Quidditch Champions. We’ll tell you how it works, how many players you can play with, and how to add and play with your friends – let’s get into it.

Is Harry Potter Quidditch Champions multiplayer?

Yes, you can play Harry Potter Quidditch Champions in multiplayer. While the base game itself is focused on a single player mode wherein you’ll control your entire team, switching between them throughout the game, you can play matches with up to three human players on each team.

You can play in single player, but there is multiplayer support for matches up to and including 3v3.

When doing this, you’ll be able to choose which players you’ll be able to control. As there are three Chasers, each player will be assigned a specific Chaser, and then you’ll be required to choose which other position you want to control alongside. So, for example, I might choose to play Beater + Chaser, and can swap between them throughout the game, while my teammate might focus on being a Seeker when the Snitch appears.

How to play with friends in Harry Potter Quidditch Champions

When in the game, you’ll have a button in the bottom left corner of your screen marked ‘Friends’. Selecting this will open up a menu showing various tabs including your friends and players you’ve recently played with. From here, you can select a particular player and invite them to a party of up to three people.

✓ Faster games

If you don’t want to wait too long for a game, select ‘Any Position’. This means you won’t only be looking for games with a certain positional slot free.

Once you’ve got your party sorted, back out of the menu and head to the ‘Play’ tab. Select the mode, choose your positions as described above and you’ll be good to jump into a game. If you played with any strangers and wanted to add them to your friends list, you can also do that from the Friends menu, just as you would if you were adding someone you already know.
