Before we leave 2024, Fortnite has another surprise for us. Once again, Epic Games will have a celebration of a new year within the game. If you’ve played Fortnite for a few years, you probably already know when the next event will take place. But if not, we have everything you need to know, including the start date and time of the event.

In this article, we will reveal the date and time of the New Year event in Fortnite, as well as explain how to watch it. Luckily, this is not a one-time event. Thanks to this, you will be able to watch it no matter what time zone you are in.

When does the next Fortnite event begin?

The next event will begin on Tuesday, December 31. It begins on the last day of the year and will last for an entire day. More specifically, Epic Games will release it every hour on Tuesday. The first country to enter a new year is Kiribati, which is in the earliest time zone in the world, 14 hours ahead of the Greenwich Mean Time. Due to this, the first event should begin at 10 AM GMT or 5 AM Eastern Time.

This will be a small event that will last for approximately a minute. However, if you miss it, you can simply log in an hour later and catch the next one. The event will be released every hour, so you don’t have to worry about missing it. This means that the event will be live at 5 AM ET, 6 AM ET, 7 AM ET, and so on. It should be shown every hour throughout the entire day.

To watch the upcoming Fortnite event, you simply need to get into a Battle Royale match. Once it begins, combat will likely be disabled and everyone on the island will be dancing.
