Where can you get a new free Fortnite skin?
Mr. Dappermint is a skin that was added for free with the massive LEGO Fortnite update. Despite being part of this mode, the skin is usable in all experiences, including Battle Royale and Zero Build. The best part? You may have already received the Mr. Dappermint skin for free. If you previously obtained Explorer Emilie, the new item is waiting for you in your locker.
To get Mr. Dappermint in Fortnite, you need to link your Epic Games and LEGO accounts. The first step is making a LEGO Insiders account for free. After that, you need to log in to epicgames.com and add your newly-created account. To link your accounts, here are the detailed steps:
- Log in with your Epic Games account at www.epicgames.com
- Use the menu in the top right corner and click on Account
- Select Apps and Accounts from the left-hand menu
- Click on the Connect button under the Lego Account
- Allow the connection between accounts
As soon as you do this, the free Fortnite skin will appear in your account. Interestingly, Epic Games did not remove Explorer Emilie. This outfit will remain in the game and will also be given to anyone who links their accounts.
