Adding Godzilla to Fortnite was a fantastic move by Epic Games. Not only are players excited about the new skin but the gameplay is amazing. In each match, there is a chance of the monster spawning and wreaking havoc. Unfortunately, the spawn is not guaranteed, which is why some players haven’t had a chance to fight Godzilla. The good news is that you can play against the iconic creature in every match. A Fortnite Creative map allows you to participate in a custom event and defeat Godzilla. If you’d like to find out how to do it, here’s everything you need to know.
How to access Godzilla event map in Fortnite
To fight Godzilla in every single Fortnite match, you need to access the “Boss Event” Creative map. This has been one of the most popular fan-made maps over the past month, reaching a peak of 105,947 concurrent players in late December 2024. It still has thousands of active players on a daily basis, so you should give it a try.
To play against Godzilla, please follow these steps:
- Launch Fortnite
- Click on the Search icon in the top menu
- Enter code 1631-0751-4517
- Choose Private or Public matchmaking
- Press the Play button
You can play the Fortnite map alone or you can team up with your friends to take down the monster. When you just join the map, you will see Godzilla submerged in the water. However, he will resurface after the timer on the map hits zero, attacking the town and trying to eliminate all the players. You can use various guns to take the monster down, as well as vehicles, turrets, and other utilities.
Unfortunately, this map doesn’t allow you to play as Godzilla. If you want to do that, you will have to join a Battle Royale match and be the first player to enter the portal. The monster has a 40% spawn rate, but if you play long enough, you should be able to see him in a few games.
