The launch of a new Fortnite Reload map brings another free Discord reward. Once again, you can unlock a new Avatar, which is available for a limited time. Once unlocked, the Avatar will remain in your account for two months. However, you only have a few days to unlock it, so make sure not to miss this opportunity.
In this guide, we’ll explain how you can unlock the Slurp Barrel Discord Avatar for free. The process is very simple and setting it up shouldn’t take more than a couple of minutes.
How to unlock the free Fortnite Slurp Barrel Avatar on Discord
The latest Discord Avatar is named Slurp Barrel, which is used as a celebration of the new Fortnite Reload map. The map is called Slurp Rush and has several iconic locations from Chapter 2, including a recreation of Slurpy Swamp. Considering this, it’s no surprise that the Avatar is based on one of the most iconic objects from this place.
To unlock the Avatar, you need to do the following:
- Launch Discord
- Go to the Discover section
- Open Quests
- Accept the new Fortnite quest
- Choose the system you play Fortnite on
- Link your console and Discord accounts (console only)
- Play Fortnite Reload mode for 30 minutes
If you use Discord on a PC, the app will track your progress. However, if you are on Xbox or PlayStation, you will have to link your Discord and Epic Games accounts. This process is simple and can be done from your Epic account settings.
Keep in mind that the free Fortnite x Discord Avatar is available until Monday, April 21. Once the quest expires, you will no longer be able to unlock it. If you unlock it, the Avatar will be available right away and will stay in your Discord account for two months.
