If you’re looking to make the most of your early game experience, here’s a closer look at the best starting SPECIALs.

The reason we are suggesting these numbers is largely down to the skill checks you’ll hit early on based on the dialogue options in both the main storyline and side quests you’ll encounter. There are also a few mini-games like lockpicking and terminal hacking that benefit from these stats. This SPECIALs arrangements cover the highest stat you’ll need for all these.
If you want a more practical build we recommend spreading them out for evenly as below:

The reason why we suggest the build is down to a few factors. One of the highest skill checks early on is Stength 7. It is way higher than the usual 5 or 6 for other stats. You get a lot of melee weapons and early buffs like Roids, which benefit from a Strength boost. The other factor is that guns and ammo are incredibly rare early on and even later into the game to reflect Britain’s strict gun laws, a factor that’s mimicked in Fallout London. You’ll mainly find make-shift ranged weapons. Proper guns are very rare. Due to the limited guns and ammo, VATS modifying skills and luck seem limited in terms of reach until the mid and later portions of the game.
As for the Charisma stat, smooth talking is always worthwhile to get you out of awkward situations. Additionally, skill checks also benefit from a Charisma stat of 6. We also recommend some points in Endurance and Intelligence. Intelligence is for the Hacking while Endurance will help maintain solid health and stamina. Health is very important early on, too, as you’ll get a damage-taken debuff through the early game. Even on normal difficulty the swarming Shrews and Blaotflys can hurt you easily, especially when you have limited meds.
