Is Elden Ring Nightreign on GeForce NOW? Answered

Aside from pumping out critically-acclaimed bangers, I appreciate FromSoftware for keeping the hardware demands of its games relatively low. This carries over with the new three-player session-based RPG roguelike, Elden Ring Nightreign. A quick glance at the system requirements and there’s no mention of 5000, 4000, or even a 3000 series GPU nor is any CPU beyond the reliably affordable Ryzen 5.

There’s a good chance your PC is up to the task. Now, if you fancy playing on an old laptop, a workstation, or even a bootcamp-ed Mac, there are potentially options, namely cloud streaming. Leading the charge here is NVIDIA’s RTX-powered legion of server farms known as GeForce NOW. In this guide, we’ll walk you through whether Elden Ring Nightreign is heading to GeForce NOW.

Is Elden Ring Nightreign heading to GeForce NOW?

As it stands, there’s been no official confirmation that Elden Ring Nightreign will or won’t be on GeForce NOW on launch day, May 30th, 2025. I have some bad news though for those holding out hold for a last minute announcement – no FromSoftware game has ever been playable on GeForce NOW. 

What this means is that it is highly unlikely that this will change for Elden Ring Nightreign. That’s not to say it won’t even happen, just don’t hold your breath for FromSoft and Bandai Namco to suddenly change their minds about having their games, including Elden Ring Nightreign, on the streaming service.

So what are your other options? There is always console. The game is releasing not just on current gen PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, but also the last gen PS4 and Xbox One. Otherwise, Elden Ring is very playable on lower settings even on aging machines so expect the same from Nightreign. As for other streaming services, Shadow PC supports Elden Ring so there’s a good chance it will do the same for Nightreign. This isn’t confirmed yet, though. It isn’t coming to Game Pass either, so won’t be an cloud streaming option for Xbox players.
