What are Flows in Blue Lock Rivals and how to get them?
In Blue Lock Rivals, Flows are temporary buffs that boost your abilities during gameplay. To enter the Flow state, you have to fill up the Flow state bar above your abilities, and once it’s full, you’ll activate your Flow. You can acquire new Flows by spinning in the Flow Gacha and selecting specific Flows to slightly increase your chances of obtaining them. The odds of getting the Flow of a specific rarity are approximately as follows:
- Rare: 62.5%
- Epic: 30%
- Legendary: 7%
- Mythic: 0.5%
- World Class: 0.25%
However, if you use Lucky Flows, such as the ones granted by codes for Blue Lock Rivals, you can increase the odds of getting better rarities. Better yet, you won’t be getting Rare Flows at all. The Lucky Flow odds are approximately:
- Legendary: 94%
- Mythic: 5%
- World Class: 1%
S-tier Flows
Dribbler
Perfect for boosting your dribbling skills, Dribbler Flow increases your ability to manoeuvre around defenders and sets you up for powerful cut-ins and shooting chances.
Prodigy
With a passive curve boost for all your normal shots, Prodigy Flow is a game-changer for scoring from long distances. It’s especially effective against goalkeepers, making it a great choice for sharpshooters.
Emperor
Emperor features increased movement speed and shot strength, paired with reduced cooldowns on abilities. That makes it a perfect pairing for any offensive Styles, such as Kaiser for example.
Awakened Genius
This Flow grants you two dribbles, giving you more opportunities to evade defenders and make your way toward the goal. The additional dodges make this an especially strong Flow for aggressive play when you’re effectively facing four opponents.
Demon Wings
Demon Wings is one of the most overpowered Flows, providing huge boosts to jump height and shot speed. Pair this with Shidou Style for maximum effectiveness, and you’re a serious threat in the air and on the ground.
Gale Burst
With a boost to stamina regeneration and faster shot release, Gale Burst helps you stay fresh throughout the game and makes it easier to score goals with quick shots and improved mobility.
A-tier Flows
Soul Harvester
Soul Harvester grants a blanket 10% cooldown reduction on all your abilities. In addition, you can header or dribble one extra time and get increased movement speed. These powers go well with technical Styles that seek to leverage their abilities to greater effect.
Crow
If you play a central forward role, Crow Flow is a must-have. It boosts your shooting strength and gives you a strong charge, making you a force to be reckoned with when it comes to goal-scoring.
Chameleon
While often overlooked, Chameleon Flow can be a great fit for players using high-cooldown Styles. It reduces cooldown times, allowing you to spam abilities more frequently and keep pressure on the opponent.
King’s Instinct
Best suited for central midfielders, King’s Instinct helps you challenge opponents with its ankle-breaking buff. Additionally, it boosts shot power, allowing you to make powerful passes or long-range shots.
Wild Card
Wild Card Flow offers randomized buffs like increased speed, strength, or stamina, making it a fun high-risk, high-reward Flow. If you’re lucky enough to receive all three buffs at once, it can turn the tide of the game in your favour.
B-tier Flows
Snake
Snake Flow focuses on defensive buffs, making it a solid choice for players who want to excel at tackling and escaping pressure. With shorter ragdoll time and increased tackle hitbox, you can quickly regain possession and stop the opposing attack.
Monster
Monster Flow excels at dribbling with a faster dribble cooldown and no speed reduction when carrying the ball. While it’s powerful, mastering it can be tricky, and once you lose possession, you’ll need to rely on teammates to regain the ball.
Trap
Though not the strongest in the current meta, Trap has potential. It grants you a speed boost and shot power boost after receiving the ball. That makes it highly situational, but with more accessible execution, it could easily climb the ranks.
C-tier Flows
Puzzle
For newer players, Puzzle Flow is a solid option, offering a basic speed boost that can help you navigate the field. However, it’s outclassed by other higher-tier Flows that provide more significant benefits.
Lightning
Lightning Flow offers a basic shooting power boost, making it useful for passing but not ideal for scoring goals. Without additional bonuses, it remains in the C tier as a supportive but not dominant Flow.
D-tier Flows
Genius
While Genius Flow can boost your entire team’s Flow by 30%, it’s more of a passive buff that doesn’t directly contribute to scoring or aggressive play. Only consider it if you want to play as a dedicated support for your team.
Ice
Ice Flow helps with pass strength and auto-tracking, but it’s primarily a supportive Flow that’s not very useful in a 5v5 match. With that in mind, it doesn’t offer enough value to rank any higher.
