- Walk along the wall and pay attention to the way the DualSense controller rumbles
- Push the block that produces the strongest rumble to lower the wall
At the start of the Az-Tech Trail, you’ll hit a large wall made of blocks etched with computer chip circuits. A tutorial pop-up appears on screen to guide you through, but it’s not all that clear what you need to do to get Astro through the wall.
We’ll walk you through how to get through the wall in Az-Tech Trail. If you’re looking to get all the planet’s bots, puzzle pieces, and portal check out our dedicated Az-Tech Trail collectibles guide.
How to open the Az-Tech Trail wall
To get through the wall in Az-Tech Trail, you’ll need to approach the wall then move Astro along the blocks from either left to right or right to left so that he glides his hand. As you move, your DualSense controller will rumble. For most of the blocks, the rumble remains gentle, but on one it will intensify.
Run alongside the blocks until you feel the rumble intensity. It’s the third one from the right (at least it was for us; it may change for different instances of the game so it may be different for you). Stop in front of the block then press forward on your left thumbstick to get Astro to push the block forward. Doing so will remove the wall, allowing you to progress with the planet.
That’s pretty much all there is to it. For any subsequent block walls in the level and on other planets, the same technique applies: find the strongest rumble then push the block forward to destroy the wall. Occasionally, the puzzle will appear on the floor with the same green computer chip circuit design, but the solution is still all about finding the spot where the controller rumbles the strongest.
