Arise Crossover is out, and players have already begun grinding their way to the top spots. If you want to catch up and reach other anime islands, then using the best Shadows is the way to go. Your first island, inspired by Solo Levelling, is the perfect place to start, so which Shadows are the best ones? You can see the answer thanks to our tier lists for each island, so let’s begin.
Arise Crossover Shadows tier list
We have ranked the best Shadows in Arise Crossover in our tier list, ranging from S-tier to C-tier. This represents our current view and the game’s meta, though it’s subject to change, especially when new Shadows get added to the game. With that, let’s see how they rank
Leveling City Shadows tier list
Tier | Shadows |
---|---|
S-tier | Vermillion Longin |
A-tier | Largalgan Gonshee |
B-tier | Anders Daek |
C-tier | Soondoo |
Vermillion (S-tier)
Vermillion deals the highest amounts of damage out of any Shadow in Solo City. That makes it the best one you can get – if you can get it! The trouble arises (pun intended) due to its low chance of getting an Arise for it. It may take you a while and a good deal of farming to finally get a Vermillion of your own (not to mention multiples). But the reward is well worth your effort.
Longin (S-tier)
Longin is easily the best early-game Shadow you can get. It only grows in power the more of them you add to your squad (up to four). This strat enables scaling of Longin’s flaming spear, so we advise you to go and get at least one right out of the gates. The best part is that they’re not too hard to farm even early on, especially for an S-tier Shadow.
Largalgan (A-tier)
If you can’t (or won’t) get Longin, then Largalgan is your next best choice from the start. You can find it pretty early, just outside the main spawn zone of Solo City. Simply follow the inclined road to the overpass, and you’ll find plenty of them. Getting a full squad is great, but pairing up Largalgan and Longin is even better.
Gonshee (A-tier)
Gonshee is a good jack-of-all-trades Shadow. They’re perfect to fill up any holes in your squad of four while you farm for stronger options. Simply keep them around and have them be the first to be replaced with any options higher on the tier list.
Anders (B-tier)
Anders is very similar to Gonshee, only slightly weaker. You should use Anders in the same way as Gonshee, plugging up holes in your squad until you replace them. They’re easy to get since they’re mostly located right outside the spawn zone, under the overpass.
Daek (B-tier)
Dark is a decent Shadow to use early on. It has a reliable flurry melee attack, but the damage is nothing to write home about. While useful, Dark should be replaced with other Shadows above them on the tier list.
Soondoo (C-tier)
Soondoo is simply bad. Sure, you should get a few early to spike your power, but they should be replaced ASAP. As expected from the weakest Shadows, you can farm them right outside of the spawning area.
