These units will often be the biggest contributors to your overall strength and thus dictate your rate of progress through the game. Progressing through your Shadows is fairly straightforward. They all share similar power scaling, and it all depends on which World you’re progressing in. Therefore, always aim to get the highest rarity Shadows for their World and progress linearly. From World 1 to World 3, simply make your way through Common, then Rare, then Epic, Legendary, and finally settle between Mythic and Secret Shadows until you’re ready to progress to the next World.Â
Note that Baruke is the only Shadow you can’t obtain through regular gameplay. Instead, he’s only available to players who have played the original Anime Shadow game on Roblox. So if you’re new to the series, you won’t be able to obtain Baruke.
Anime Shadow 2 Traits tier list
You get traits by completing Trials that open every 30 minutes, during which you can reroll your Traits upon completion. Alternatively, you can use Anime Shadow 2 codes to get Trait Rerolls instead, which is especially useful if you’re not strong enough to take Trials yet.

When it comes to the strongest Traits, Rising is the clear winner with huge bonuses across the board. It is also incredibly rare to get. Alternatively, always look for Vigor traits, as they’ll help you progress faster through higher DMG. In our experience, the Swift traits are a trap, as they won’t increase your overall DPS by much. That is because -SPA just lowers the special attack cooldown of your Shadows, which falls well behind flat +DMG traits.
