It’s a long wait until Football Manager 2025 is released—at least four, and probably five months. This means that there are many months in which the Football Manager community may feel a bit bored, and a lot of time that Football Manager content creators need to fill with Football Manager 2024 content. Many of these creators do it as a full-time job, so it could be a challenging few months. So, I thought I’d take a look at what some of the top Football Manager content creators are doing. If you’re looking for a YouTube series to dive into, or if one of these saves catches your attention, then this article is for you.
Zealand
We may as well start with one of the biggest Football Manager content creators, if not the biggest. Zealand consistently posts great videos on YouTube, and he’s also got a Twitch save going at the moment. He’s managing the worst team in the hardest state league in Brazil: São Bernardo FC. So if you’re tired of European saves and want to see a challenge, this one could be for you!
Doctor Benjy
Personally, he’s my favorite Football Manager streamer. Back in my university days, I used to watch Doctor Benjy all the time, and his videos never failed to make me laugh. He’s currently very active in the Football Manager world and has a fun save going on with Bolton. He’s currently in the Premier League with them and has just signed Ivan Toney and Nat Phillips. It looks like he’s all-in on bringing back the #Barclaysmen days to the Premier League.
WorkTheSpace
You'll get hints, tips, new challenges and all the latest news as we gear up for the next game.⚽🏆
WorkTheSpace is a pillar of the Football Manager community, and if you’ve been around a while, you’ll know him instantly. He’s brilliant for tactical insights and unique saves. However, for a few weeks, WorkTheSpace wasn’t sure what save he was going to do, and no ideas were coming to him after the Football Manager 2025 delay announcement. But after a lot of pondering, he’s started a new save with a twist on his classic series. He’s doing a Park to Prem series (going from non-league to the Premier League), but this time, he can only sign foreign players. He’s starting with a team that disbanded 100 years ago and never played in the Football League: Wanderers F.C.! Intriguing.
Lollujo
While some creators have just started new saves, others are deep into long-running ones. That’s definitely the case with Lollujo, aka Kevin Chapman. On YouTube, he’s currently deep into a save with Wembley F.C., having started in the ninth tier of English football, and let’s just say he’s come a long way since then! On Twitch, Lollujo has just started managing Barrow in his Barrowcelona series—the name alone has me hooked!
Second Yellow Card
If you’re looking for something very different, you might enjoy Second Yellow Card and his Build a Nation save. If you’re not familiar with this type of save, the goal is to improve the reputation and competitiveness of an entire league or country’s football system rather than focusing on one club. In this case, he’s doing it with Malta, and judging by a few videos, it looks like absolute chaos!
Omega Luke
Now for something no one else does: turning Football Manager into a family affair. Omega Luke’s unique twist is to do challenges and saves versus his dad. For example, in his latest YouTube video, he takes on his dad in the Turkish league, with Luke managing Fenerbahçe and his dad taking charge of Galatasaray. They have a time limit and a unique point-scoring system to determine the winner. They’ve done many variations of this with different teams and challenges. If this sounds like your kind of content, check them out on YouTube.
Obviously, there are many content creators I haven’t mentioned, so I’ll likely do a second part to this series. Let me know in the comments who I’ve missed and if there are any saves you’re hooked on at the moment.
