It might be Pancake Day (or Overeat Tuesday as we like to call it), but we're celebrating the best VideoGamer.com members from January - better late than never, right?
So, with the flour, eggs, lemon, and Nutella all stocked up in the VideoGamer.com cupboard, it's time to announce our winners of Member of the Month January. These good people of the forum have made VideoGamer.com a special place to be during the first month of the year. We've had a lot of great contributions throughout January and are delighted to give these people a mention.
Each winner will have the choice of any game (up to the value of £50) from GAME!
We've been running this promotion for years, with the results announced on the forums and our podcast. We like to go into a little more detail, with a brief explanation of why we've picked the specific winners each month.
It's important to mention that if you did not win this time around, please do not feel unappreciated; we genuinely love all your contributions to VideoGamer.com, and as fortune has it, we'll be picking another set of winners next month.
Without any further delay, here are our Members of the Month for January:
This guy is so good he's won MotM for a second month in succession. As we said last month, Bloodstorm shows great enthusiasm and goodwill around the forums, and always gets involved in discussions. Amongst his best threads, set up to try and get people talking, were this Yoshi Ono discussion, this 2000AD thread, and this holy discussion.
Dav2612 is always trying to get people involved on the VideoGamer.com forum, and started numerous great threads in January.
Particular highlights included this one on revisiting a game after a long time away from it and another on missing a simpler time.
P0rtalthinker has been a solid member on VideoGamer.com for quite a while now, and he was sticking to form in January. As well as joining in with discussions across the site, he started numerous threads including this one on
Congratulations once again to our winners, and warm thanks to everyone who's contributed over the past month. If you'd like to suggest someone for MOTM, why not add your thoughts to the Member of the Month: Forum Edition thread? While we always make our own decision, we keep an eye on the chat in there.
