Recommendation of the Week: Guitar Hero: On Tour, DS

We know this was out last week, but in our E3 frenzy we didn't get around to writing a heads-up. That plus the fact there isn't a great deal to pick from this week, means the DS' first Guitar Hero title is the VideoGamer.com recommendation of the week.

Unlike the home console versions, which carry a higher than usual price tag when including a guitar controller, this DS edition costs the same as a standard DS release and includes the Guitar Grip peripheral - a nifty device which allows players to take control of a virtual guitar using four fret buttons.

It's certainly not perfect, with the Guitar Grip proving a little uncomfortable to use, but it's the best available for DS gamers - that is except for Ubisoft's Jam Sessions which provides a guitar simulation but nowhere near the same level of fun.
