Welcome to Heads-up, VideoGamer.com's weekly feature which gives you an at-a-glance run-down on the games you'll be able to buy or rent this weekend. Every Tuesday we'll pick out the best of the bunch, link to our reviews and previews and keep you in the video game loop so you have enough time to pre-order for Friday's post. Time to splash the cash.

It's Easter weekend so games are hitting stores on Thursday this week, giving you a full four days to play with your new purchase.

Recommendation of the Week: Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2, Xbox 360, PS3

It's not the all-singing, all-dancing sequel fans would have hoped for, but once you get past the initial feeling that you're playing an expansion, Rainbow Six Vegas 2 delivers a thrilling experience with all the series' trademark squad-based tactical combat.

The cooperative campaign now feels more refined and while it's disappointing the four-player co-op has dropped to two, you can get your larger group co-op fix in the game's Terrorist Hunt mode. Also new is the way in which your custom character exists in both the single and multiplayer game modes - good stuff.

Also out this week

SEGA Superstar Tennis, Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PS2, DS: SEGA fans are in for a treat with Sumo's ultra unrealistic arcade tennis title, bringing together the publisher's most famous and not so famous faces. Never before will you have seen a blue hedgehog smashing tennis balls at the undead on a tennis court in the middle of a graveyard.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates, DS: Ring of Fates is a prequel to the original Crystal Chronicles on GameCube and features the two protagonists Yuri and Chelinka, twins who share a mystical power. This DS action adventure also features cooperative play for up to four players, enabling you and your friends to fight together.
