Welcome to Heads-up, our weekly feature which gives you an at-a-glance run-down on the games you'll be able to buy or rent this weekend. Every Tuesday we'll pick out the best of the bunch, link to our reviews and previews and keep you in the video game loop so you have enough time to pre-order for Friday's post. Time to splash the cash.
Worth a Look
While The 40th Day isn't the massive improvement on the original Army of Two we hoped it would be, it still offers some entertaining and highly explosive cooperative gameplay. Visually it's excellent, there are some brilliant set-piece moments and the multiplayer functionality is great. Sadly the campaign is over just as you're getting into it, and the competitive multiplayer isn't up to the standard set by Modern Warfare 2, but if you're after something that requires a buddy, you could do a lot worse.
Vancouver 2010, the official video game of the soon to commence 2010 Winter Olympics, isn't going to be a brilliant game, but these kind of releases are always usually quite good for some multiplayer shenanigans. Don't expect to be playing this one for months, but it should provide some fun in the short-term.
