Welcome to Heads-up, our weekly feature which gives you an at-a-glance run-down on the games you’ll be able to buy or rent this weekend. Every Monday we’ll pick out the best of the bunch, link to our reviews and previews and keep you in the video game loop so you have enough time to pre-order for Friday’s post. Time to smash open your piggy bank so you can spend its coin-shaped guts.

Worth a look

It’s quite slim pickings this week, but Capcom has delivered the first three Devil May Cry games from the PS2 in HD format for the Xbox 360 and PS3. The second game is widely considered to be a bit duff, but the other two are considered classics for good reason. Find out our in-depth thoughts later in the week. Rhythm Thief & The Emperor’s Treasure is a bit more of an oddity, arriving with little fanfare, but seemingly a decently little rhythm action game from SEGA for the 3DS.

And the rest…

The only game here that is likely to get your attention is Kinect Star Wars. From our experience of the game at various events over the past year, we’re not holding our breath it’ll be good – but stranger things have happened.

  • Kinect Star Wars – Kinect for Xbox 360
  • Top Gun: Hard Lock – Xbox 360 and PS3
  • Alvin And The Chipmunks – Chipwrecked – Kinect Xbox 360
  • The Train Giant – PC
  • Warriors Orochi 3 – Xbox 360 and PS3
