The console war is fought everywhere these days, but the internet seems to be where people are most vocal. It also serves to give each console its own set of downloadable content, fuelling the war even more. Each week we'll give you a run-down of what's available to download on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii, and declare a winner.

Note: This round-up is based on UK releases to each console's online service and does not include premium video content. Releases outside of the UK could vary.

PlayStation 3 - PSN

Headlining the PSN this week is the rather gorgeous Flower, a game which we reckon is well worth its measly £6.29 price tag. It might not be for everyone, but if you have a love of nice visuals and are part of the 'games are art' brigade don't let this pass you by. Also on the playable front is a second demo for PS3 exclusive racer MotorStorm Pacific Rift, some more LittleBigPlanet content and a demo for Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket Powered Battle Cars.

On top of that lot there's a selection of new tracks for Guitar Hero: World Tour and Rock Band, trailers for Flower and Tekken 6, and a Hasselhoff theme for PAIN. David Hasselhoff on your PS3 XMB - what more do you want?

Head to page 2 for a look at this week's Xbox 360 Marketplace releases.

Xbox 360 - Marketplace

Xbox LIVE Marketplace doesn't have a single game to rival Flower on PSN, but it does have two reasonably priced XBLA games, a demo for Ubisoft's H.A.W.X. and plenty of add-on content. The general lull in great content may well be MS giving everyone a week off so we've all got some MS Points spare for next week's GTA 4 The Lost and Damned DLC - which you can find a new HD trailer for on Xbox LIVE Marketplace.

If you're into your music games there is at least a decent selection of new tracks for Guitar Hero World Tour, Rock Band and Lips.

Head to page 3 for a look at this week's Wii releases.

We didn't expect Onslaught, WiiWare's first first-person shooter to be released so soon, but it's out now. It looks rather basic by modern standards, but it's only 1000 points and includes a single and online multiplayer component, so might be worth a look - although strangely there's no deathmatch mode. Pop-up Pirate is the week's second release and is a video game version of the classic children's game. We personally think that the Wii game can't capture what makes the real game so much fun, so bare that in mind before you hand over your Wii Points.

Lonpos also received a selection of new add-on packs this week, with each containing 25 puzzles at a cost of 300 Wii Points. Certainly worth a look if you're a fan of the game.

Onslaught: 1000 Wii Points

Pop-up Pirate: 500 Wii Points

LONPOS Downloadable Content: 300 Wii Points per pack

And the winner of this week's DLC Royal Rumble is...

It's the PS3 that takes victory this week, with the stunning Flower more or less giving it victory all by itself. In truth none of the consoles excelled too much more than the others, so hopefully we'll have a better line-up next week. It seems as though we're repeating ourselves, but it's worth noting that once again there's no sign of Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix on the European PlayStation Store, so unless it arrives next week Street Fighter IV will beat it to the Sony console over here.
