The console war is fought everywhere these days, but the internet seems to be where people are most vocal. It also serves to give each console its own set of downloadable content, fuelling the war even more. Each week we'll give you a run-down of what's available to download on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii, and declare a winner.

Note: This round-up is based on UK releases to each console's online service and does not include premium video content. Releases outside of the UK could vary.

PlayStation 3 - PSN

The PlayStation Store update this week is far more impressive than what we got last week. To start with we've got a full game in the shape of Magic Ball. We haven't had a chance to play this yet, but it looks like a Breakout clone with added graphical bells and whistles, and some nifty destruction. On the demo front PS3 owners can now also try EA's Dead Space and Skate 2. Sadly there's still no sign of Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, which we've all but given up hope of ever seeing in Europe on the PS3.

If you're looking for add-ons, there's another roster update for Smackdown Vs. RAW 2009, a ton of new content for High Velocity Bowling, three updates for Shaun White Snowboarding, and new tracks for Guitar Hero World Tour and Rock Band. If you're after a new theme for your PS3 you might be interested in the Savage Moon Alien theme, which Sony is giving away for free.

Sadly there's no new XBLA games to talk about this week, but Xbox 360 owners do get new DLC for Fable II, one of 2008's best games. While we didn't love it quite as much as the original game, it's still very entertaining and worth a look, especially if you made a rather bad decision at the end of the main quest.

As well as the new Fable II content there's a small DLC pack for Castle Crashers, some free content for Shaun White, plenty of new tracks for Guitar Hero World Tour, Rock Band and Lips, and some new outfits for your Xbox 360 Avatar.

Wii

Wii

It's a pretty quiet week for Wii with only one new game trying to make you part with your Wii Points. LONPOS asks you to fit coloured shapes onto a board, using them all to fill in all the spaces. As far as games go it's pretty simple stuff but, as is the way with most puzzle games, a simple premise can often make for something that's incredibly challenging. If you're looking for another puzzler you could do a lot worse.

WiiWare

LONPOS: 800 Wii Points

And the winner of this week's DLC Royal Rumble is...

PS3

With a full PSN release, two demos and a decent selection of DLC, it's the PS3 that wins this week. Xbox LIVE Marketplace fails to offer much other than the new Fable II DLC and the Wii, despite offering a full game, can't compare. We only hope the PS3 will see Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix one day soon.
