While by no means is this the cheapest gaming monitor on the market, for under $1000 this is an offer that is very hard to compete with. One of the only things we’d prefer is an OLED display, but with how impressive the Odyssey G8’s Mini LED display is, we’re not convinced you’d need one.
Samsung Odyssey Neo G8 specifications
This 32” monitor was the first 240Hz, 4K monitor to ever hit the market when it was released earlier this year. The Odyssey G8s Mini LED matte display coupled with its high resolution, refresh rate, and speed, as well as its 1000R curve, allows for one of the most immersive gaming experiences you can have in 2022.
A 1000R curved display may seem extreme at first but a lot of research has gone into its design. The bright sparks at Samsung have worked out that this level of curvature matches human depth perception and angles of viewing better than flat screens or shallower curves. The Odyssey G8 is first and foremost a gaming monitor and its specs are really some of the best in the business, offering high levels of immersion and a speedy response time which is right at the cutting edge of monitor technology in 2022.
