Console model
As of the time of writing, there are now three specific models of Nintendo Switch – the standard, the Lite and the OLED Model. We’d definitely say so. While there’s been constant rumours of a new model for some time, nothing substantial has come of them, outside of hardware refreshes like the Switch Lite and OLED Model.
Can two people play on one Nintendo Switch?
It depends on the game, but generally speaking: yes! On the standard and OLED models, the detachable Joy-Cons can work as two individual controllers.

For example, some games will have you turn the controllers horizontally, others might just have you use them as separate devices.
