Where to find the best Cyber Monday laptop deals
Black Friday was incredibly competitive for laptops across the board and we don’t expect the heat to dissipate now. We think Amazon and Best Buy should have the deepest deals if what we learned this week has taught us anything. We recommend checking back here often for new offers, and alternative retailers like Newegg for a sneaky deal or two as well.
Black Friday laptop retailer shortlist:
- Best Buy: Early Black Friday deals live now
- Amazon (US): Live deals on laptops right now
- Newegg: Huge savings on tech
- Amazon (UK): Loads of Black Friday deals live now
When did the Black Friday laptop deals start in 2023?
Black Friday happened this year on November 24, with the discounts on laptops of all kinds carrying on into the weekend. With that said, we’re expecting big things from Cyber Monday which is scheduled to take place on November 27. We don’t necessarily know if waiting until the last minute is going to be worth it, as you may be better served with a weekend deal, but use your judgement here.
Features to consider when looking for Cyber Monday deals
Size
Laptops range in size and thickness, often depending on their use. This is really important when choosing a laptop, as a thick and chunky laptop can often become cumbersome to carry around.
Resolution
If you’re gaming on your laptop, you’re going to want to try and get at the very least a QHD screen. The same applies for content creation and video/image processing.
However, if you’re looking for a simple work laptop, a FHD screen will suffice just fine, whilst also saving you a few hundred dollars.
Internal Hardware
You’ll be aiming to grab a laptop with and Intel Core CPU, or AMD Ryzen. These are the standard for high quality processing, whilst something like an Intel Celeron will be rather dated and incompatible with modern computing standards.
For a wider selection of laptop deals, have a look at our Black Friday 144Hz laptop deals and our Black Friday Intel 12th Gen laptop deals for more. We’re also covering Black Friday Apple deals too.
Frequently asked questions
Who makes the best laptops?
There is no singular answer: Dell, HP, Apple, Lenovo, Razer, ASUS, Acer, and Microsoft are all trusted brands. The best laptop depends on your use for it, and the device’s hardware and price.
You’re likely going to have to use your own judgement, though any of those brands will likely offer a quality build.
