Using Creations online in Lego 2K Drive explained

To get your vehicle into online matches, you’ll first need to submit it for approval. 2K does this as a way to combat offensive or spam designs from flooding online matches.

Submitting a car is fairly straightforward. First, go into the garage. You can access the garage by driving up to one around the open world and interacting with it, or by selecting the “garage” button on the main menu. If you’re not sure where to find a garage in the open world, check out our garage locations guide for some help. From here, select the car you want to take into online matches. Upon selection, you’ll get a menu with a number of different tabs on it.

Go down to the bottom of this menu and click “submit”. This will bring up a prompt asking if you’re sure you want to submit your design. The prompt will include a link to the guidelines, which you’ll need to adhere to in order for your submission to be accepted.

If you’re happy that your design meets the guidelines, go ahead and hit the button to continue on the popup to submit your design. The submission should only take a few moments to go through. However this might vary if the servers encounter any ongoing issues at a given time.

Once you’ve submitted your vehicle of choice, you’ll just need to wait for it to receive approval. This will take a bit longer than sending the initial submission, but will usually happen within a few hours at most.

As soon as your submission is approved, just head into an online match and make sure that your Creation is in the current loadout that you’re using.
