The Xbox press conference at E3 2014 will run 90 minutes and won't feature many execs in suits, Phil Spencer, corporate vice president of Microsoft Studios has confirmed.

Asked on Twitter if "this year's E3 conference [will] be as game focused as last year's?", Spencer replied: "Yes, I think you'll see very few execs."

He added: "We are already over our 90 minute time limit and having to move stuff out of show."

But what of the stuff being bumped out of the presser? Spencer says "there are other places for us to announce things at E3. Day 2, 3 etc. Show things on the floor".

E3 2014 runs June 10-14, so you can expect Microsoft to blow most its load during a conference at the start of the week.

VideoGamer.com Analysis

It sounds like E3 is going to be pretty exciting for Xbox fans this year, with announcements coming throughout the week. Halo seems a cert, as are Sunset Overdrive and Quantum Break, but beyond that we don't know what we'll be seeing.

Yup more info on Quantum Break is my main draw to MS @ E3 but I'm wary of their ambition since the "Intel multicore rendering" reveal video for Alan Wake. I really wanted to play that game and the remains that we were sold had tantalising glimpses of what could have been.

Quantum Break is my "can't wait for it" game. Remedy are up there with my favourite developers if not my fav. Sam Järvi/Lake is a fantastic writer and hopefully he does the business again.

On a side not really hope they use "Poets of the Fall" on the sound track again.

If the TV elements are anything like the promotional series released around Alan Wake then I think that we could be in for a real treat.

More Quantum Break info would be neat, curious idea that could be great or fall flat..but either way, should be something a bit different,

Maybe a fist look at Gears. I also expect to see a lot of UE4 games being shown. Now that the engine is on general release we'll start to see the affiliates being allowed to show off the games.

I really hope Epic have something internal to show off even though they have been hard at work finalising the UE4 roll out. Maybe Epic Poland has been working on something. Possibly a console release of Fortnite.

My only concern for Epic is since Tencent Holdings took just under 50% of it's shares the company has had almost all it's high profile ambassadors abandoning ship.

Does that quote not suggest it'll be as game focused as last year? Last year's wasn't particularly game focused and half the games they did talk about still aren't out yet. Same with Sony.

How about the big N, are they going to even have a keynote this year?
