Konami has revealed the minimum and recommended system requirements for the PC version of PES 2015 – and they’re surprisingly low.

To get the game running you’ll need to have at least 1GB RAM, a GeForce 7800 and 1.8GHz dual-core processor or equivalent, with the publisher recommending at least 2GB Ram and a GeForce 7950 to get the most out of it.

Minimum system requirements:

  • Windows 7 SP1 / Vista SP2
  • Intel Core 2 Duo @ 1.8GHz (AMD Athlon II X2 240 or equivalent processor)
  • 1GB RAM
  • Nvidia GeForce 7800/ATI Radeon X1300/Intel HD Graphics 2000
  • DirectX 9.0c video card with 512MB
  • 8GB HDD space

Recommended system requirements:

  • Windows 7 SP1 / Vista SP2
  • Intel Core i3 530 (AMD Phenom II X4 925 or equivalent processor)
  • 2GB RAM
  • Nvidia GeForce 7950/ATI Radeon HD 2400/Intel HD Graphics 3000
  • DirectX 9.0c video card with 1024MB
  • 8GB HDD space

But with PES making its new-gen debut this year, why do the PC specs seem so low?

Well, earlier this summer it was suggested that the PC version would be a hybrid of the last-gen and new-gen console versions, featuring the “same modes and gameplay as PS4/Xbox One” and “better visuals than PS3/X360”.

Notice how Konami chose not to say that it would feature the same visuals as the PS4 and Xbox One game? There could be a reason for that…

PES 2015 launches on PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on November 13.
