Microsoft is "looking to take legal action" against the person behind yesterday's Xbox One leaks, according to a Kotaku report.

Though the identity of the leaker still appears to be a mystery, the site claims to have been told by "one person familiar with the situation" that Microsoft is "currently trying to track down and identify" the person behind the leaks.

The informant, who goes by the alias of ntkrnl, is believed to have leaked multiple secrets about Microsoft's upcoming plans for Xbox One, including the first details on unannounced titles Halo 2: Anniversary, Forza Horizon 2 and Crackdown 3 and a delay for Halo 5.

They also claim that a white Xbox One console will release later this year and that a disc-less Xbox One could be in production.

In response to the alleged leaks, Microsoft told VideoGamer.com that it does not comment on rumour or speculation.

Oh, I wasn't saying they wouldn't, I would expect any business to respond like this. I was just sharing my opinion on Microsoft based insults.

Sony would have done the same. Apple already done it, and so far worse than this will end up.

Industrial Espionage tends to bring in legal action.

Not sure at the Microsoft insults in the comments? Any company with a leak this big would be seeking legal action if it rings true.
And if this is their reaction, you can bet this was all true info at the time of the leak. Whether MS change things now is up in the air.
