The issue is not thought to affect the PS4 version.

This game sounds like a lazy port all round.

Crashing issues aside on Xbox One, which are inexcusable in my opinion, the game is little more than a 1080p rendered version of the 720p PS3/Xbox 360 version with little in the way of noticeable improvements beyond the higher resolution. Background textures are blurry and there is no anti-aliasing either.

Not only that but the game's DLC amounts to some $100 worth so unlike other PS4/Xbox One cross-gen re-releases no-one thought to just throw in all the DLC packs for free to make it a "definitive edition". I suspect part of the reason they didn't was because this game is also being released on the PS3 and 360 as well where the DLC still has to be bought. Sure, no-one is holding a gun to your head and demanding you buy it but I personally would find it annoying to buy a port of an old game (even if it is "tweaked") only to find that it has tons of DLC or a Season Pass available.

I have to question whether this game needed to be on the last gen consoles in the first place - haven't they already have two or three versions of Dead or Alive 5? If it hadn't then perhaps the PS4/Xbox One ports would have been enhanced more and included all of the DLC too to make it better value. Heck, I may have even bought it if that had been the case.
