Assassin Creed 4’s single-player DLC ‘Freedom Cry’ will release on Tuesday, December 17, Ubisoft has revealed.

The date was featured in an advert for the game inside the latest digital issue of Game Informer (pictured above).

Freedom Cry offers a new Assassin’s Creed campaign that puts players in the role of shipmate assassin Adewale. Ubisoft claims that the DLC will offer 4+ hours of content.

Logos for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One are featured in the ad, suggesting the DLC will launch on each platform simultaneously. The DLC has yet to be confirmed for Wii U and it isn’t yet clear when the content will be available on PC.

A price for Freedom Cry has yet to be announced.
