XCOM FPS due out after April 2013

Take Two financial report states that the troubled spin-off FPS will be released before the end of March 2014.

2K's XCOM FPS, originally due for release in 2011, will now be released in the year beginning April 1, 2013. The news came in Take-Two's quarterly financial report.

No reason for the delay was given, although given how quiet the publisher has been on the game since the announcement of this October's XCOM: Enemy Unknown the news is hardly a surprise.

Take Two's net revenue is down to $148.1 million from $182.3 million in the same quarter last year, whereas revenue for the entire fiscal year dropped from $1,136.9 million to $825.8 million.
