Ubisoft brings war to Xbox LIVE Arcade

Third Wave Games' third-person shooter coming to Xbox LIVE Arcade later this summer.

War World is a fast-paced third-person shooter than combines a unique blend of heart-pumping action and tactical gameplay. Players control one of 16 mechanoids thrust into combat on the battlefield of a war-torn planet and must wreak havoc across 100 levels.

The game also features four multiplayer game modes for up to eight players: Capture the Flag, Bomb Assault, Death Match and Team Deathmatch.

War World is also shaping up to be one of the most visually impressive titles available on Xbox LIVE Arcade. A host of next-gen visual effects are on show, including full HDR, normal mapped diffused and specular lighting, volumetric explosions and soft shadows.

War World will be released on Xbox LIVE Arcade later this summer.
