A look ahead to Friday's new releases.
Welcome to Heads-up, our weekly feature which gives you an at-a-glance run-down on the games you'll be able to buy or rent this weekend. Every Monday we'll pick out the best of the bunch, link to our reviews and previews and keep you in the video game loop so you have enough time to pre-order for Friday's post. Time to shed the bread.
Worth a Look
It's a slim week for quality new releases, with Capcom's Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D being the biggest title to hit store shelves. While we're far more excited about the story-driven Resident Evil: Revelations, this could plug the gap in the meantime. Just don't expect a normal resident evil game, as this is a more action-oriented score-based title based around the Mercenaries modes found in Resident Evil 4 and 5.
Also out on Friday is UFC Personal Trainer, which we assume will let you train like a UFC fighter from the comfort of your living room. As you might expect, the game supports Kinect on Xbox 360. Far less mainstream are the quietly announced Solatorobo: Red the Hunter, a DS adventure game from Namco Bandai, and Dynasty Warriors Gundam 3, which is sure to please existing fans but no one else.
And the rest...
