Sleeping Dogs 'Nightmare in North Point' DLC adds zombies, coming in time for Halloween

United Front Games does an Undead Nightmare with Halloween-themed mission pack.

Sleepings Dogs' first mission pack will introduce zombies and an all-new side-story to United Front Games' hit open-worlder when it launches on October 30, Polygon reports.

Called 'Nightmare in North Point', the DLC offers "the developers' take on zombie fiction via Chinese mythology", reportedly telling the story of a gang member who comes back to life to haunt Hong Kong after being tortured and killed by the 18K.

Naturally, it falls to Wei Shen to deal with the gang member and his undead army while fighting off Chinese vampires, the Jiang Shi.

The DLC is said to offer "a few hours' of content" and is expected to be available for all formats. A price has yet to be announced.

The content sounds similar to Red Dead Redemption's 'Undead Nightmare' DLC, which saw legions of the undead wandering the wild west in search for flesh.

In addition to Nightmare in North Point, Sleeping Dogs' Street Racer Pack is set to be released tomorrow. The pack includes three new races, including a high-speed boat race.

At first I thought it was just a cheap shot at copying Undead Nightmares but seeing the video Bloodstorm found I regret selling my copy.

I did rather enjoy Undead Nightmare, and think I shall most certainly be picking this up!

Here's hoping they include the hopping vampires that also featured in Super Mario Land make an appearance! :D But the asian vampires (from what little I know of Chinese mythology), are vicious buggers. I just hope it addds some equally fierce moves to fight them!

Also: Monster Mash added to the Karaoke bar...
