Track & Field gets fingers blistering this week

Konami's arcade classic button-bashing bonanza finally steps onto the field on Wednesday, August 9.

On your marks, get set, GO! This Wednesday sees the Xbox LIVE Arcade release of Track & Firled, Konami's classic arcade smash hit from 1983.

The game enables up to four players to compete across a range of button-bashing events including the 100m Sprint, 110m Hurdles, Long Jump, Hammer, High Jump and Javelin.

The updated LIVE Arcade version features the same classic gameplay plus the addition of four-player support over Xbox LIVE - also available locally on a single console. You'll also have leaderboards, Achievements and Gamerscore Points.

It's certainly not the most sophisticated of games to grace the LIVE Arcade but at 400 Microsoft Points it certainly delivers more than enough fun.
