2K Sports serves up another Top Spin

Top Spin 3 is in development for PS3 and Xbox 360 with a release scheduled for spring 2008.

2K Sports has announced that Top Spin 3 is currently in development for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The game is in the hands of acclaimed Paris studio, PAM Development, and looks to improve on its predecessor by offering dynamic weather, evolutionary player visuals and comprehensive online support.

In Top Spin 3 players will compete online and offline against current top ranked professional players to rise up the rankings, taking their custom created character all the way to the top.

2K president Christoph Hartmann says that Top Spin 3 will surpass previous titles in the series in every way by "ensuring every detail is accurate, from the cloud cover to lighting, from sweat to dirt on clothing, to every drop shot, slice, lob and backhand".

Top Spin 3 is currently pencilled in for release in spring 2008.
