Telltale's award-winning The Walking Dead series will finally receive a disc release across Europe, Australia and New Zealand next month.

The retail release, which launches on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on May 10, includes all five episodes of Telltale's horror adventure game on a single disc, complete with subtitles for French, Italian, German and Spanish-speaking audiences.

The game was previously only available in Europe via digital distribution, despite a North American retail release in December last year.

A price for the retail release has not yet been announced.

Yeah 8 quid for it is a bargain and I paid 13 quid for it and still don't feel cheated.

It really is a cracking game fella.

Yeah i just brought all the episodes on sale on PSN it worked out to £8.00 in total. I'd have prefered the disc version too but i doubt it will be anywhere near as cheap.

I bought the whole package for iOS in a sale a few months back. Think it worked out about £7. Episode One was free, then episodes 2-5 were £6.99 (maybe 5.99). Somehow, despite disk and packaging being dirt cheap, I can't see this selling for less than £15 on consoles. Simply because they know people will pay more.

I'd love to have TWD on Wii U. I have it already on PS3, but I'd buy it again if I got the chance (I still want to get the disc release for collection purposes). It could have an alternate control with the wiimote, and an off-tv mode to play it just in the pad.

I would have much preferred this on disc, too. As above I have no idea at what price this will launch at. I think about Dark Arisen's pricing - RRP of £20 with it actually selling for around £16 (even though that's how much it costs digitally.)

The entire digital version, if you got it on sale, worked out at 800 MS points, so they'll have a tricky time setting an RRP for this one.
