Sir Paul McCartney to compose soundtrack for new video game

Believes young people may hear his music for the first time.

Sir Paul McCartney is to compose tracks for an upcoming video game, reports Express.co.uk.

The Beatles legend has previously had a connection to video games through EA's The Beatles Rockband, launched in 2010.

"It's a fascinating market," said McCartney. "A new computer game sells so much better than a new CD these days. Young people will hear my music for the first time in a game."

The identity of the game hasn't been revealed.
