Halo 2 remains the most played game on Xbox Live, followed by Madden NFL 07 and Call of Duty 2.

Major Nelson has released the list of the most played games on Xbox Live for the week of August 28. As usual, Halo 2 tops the Xbox chart, and the Major also points out that if you were to combine the Xbox and Xbox 360 charts, Halo 2 would still be top, followed by all the Xbox 360 games.

On the Xbox 360 Madden NFL 07 is top dog, followed by Call of Duty 2 and Texas Hold 'em at No.3. Unsurprisingly then, Texas Hold 'em tops the Xbox Live Arcade chart, with Street Fighter II' Hyper Fighting leading the chasing pack.
