Test Drive Unlimited demo on Xbox Live May 8

Atari has announced that a demo of Test Drive Unlimited will be available for the Xbox 360 via Xbox Live from May 8.

The demo will allow gamers to sample some of the game's online and offline challenges, along 40 miles of Oahu's open roads. The demo will feature stat tracking and gamers will be able to check up on their global ranking at the game's official website.

Take part in as many instant challenges as you wish, by challenging players in the game world to a one-on-one race. Define the start and finish positions for the race and then floor it to the finish line. Three cars will be available to drive: the Ford Shelby GT500, Lotus Exige and Lamborghini Gallardo. The demo will also allow you to visit a Lamborghini dealership, and each player logging onto the game will receive a house to look around.

Apparently the demo will only be available from May 8 through to May 14, so be sure to check the game out while it's available.
